About the role
- Highway maintenance operator maintaining Alberta roads for Ledcor, a diversified infrastructure construction company. Operating snowplows and heavy equipment through year-round, winter, and seasonal maintenance work.
Responsibilities
- Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required
- Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways year-round
- Assist with labourer duties including crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, and hazard remediation
- Perform winter and seasonal highway maintenance
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Participate in shift work, on-call work, and night shifts as required
Requirements
- Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Clear 3-year driver’s abstract
- Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset

- Additional premium starting at $8/hour for winter maintenance operations
