Solution Advisor co - op supporting enterprise software demonstrations, customer engagements, and pre - sales activities. Gathering requirements and designing solution concepts with sales, product, and technology teams.
About the role
- Mining Parts Advisor coordinating parts sales, technical support, orders, and logistics for Liebherr Canada’s mining equipment customers. Supporting mine-site deliveries, warehouses, and service teams.
Responsibilities
- Champion Liebherr Environmental, Health and Safety standards
- Provide parts advice and expertise to Mining customers, internal and external
- Ensure correct parts orders with technicians and service supervisors using technical knowledge of parts components and systems
- Process parts orders and specified quotes
- Create purchase orders when necessary
- Process non-stock orders and communicate with the factory
- Communicate with Service Team and Parts Planners on part performance, stocking issues and improvement opportunities
- Provide technical assistance in quotes
- Process returns according to Liebherr Canada policy and procedure
- Enter invoices into customer portals and email invoices to customers where applicable
- Correct billing errors
- Monitor parts movement from source to destination with planners, warehouse team members and third-party logistics vendors
- Administrate parts required for support equipment and procurement of consumables with Field Service Managers, Supervisors, and Technicians
- Build relationships with Liebherr factories and distribution centers
- Participate in branch and remote warehouse inventory counts
- Assist in logistics and operations for mine site deliveries, including quotes, directives, communication, coordination, and occasional direct delivery
- Provide warehouse support, including receiving, remote warehouse setup, factory returns, affiliate/factory orders, and warehouse maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Professionals entry level
- Day and night shift requirements on a 14-day rotation
- Class 5 License is mandatory
- Requirement to drive to local mine site on emergency occasions to deliver parts
- Primary work location is Elkford/Sparwood BC (95%)
- Some travel may be required to other regional locations for training and/or remote site part management
- Able to access restricted Mine sites (Drug and Alcohol Tests, Security Check)
- Able to operate medium (8T) and large (36T) forklifts and OH cranes (20T)
