About the role

  • HR Business Partner advising LifeLabs leaders on people strategy, talent, culture, and organizational change. Driving workforce planning and employee experience across national business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice and proactive human resources partnership to leaders within national business functions
  • Drive people-focused solutions that enable business goals
  • Advise, coach, and influence leaders on people matters
  • Translate business priorities into integrated HR strategies and solutions
  • Identify emerging people issues and trends to inform decision-making
  • Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations
  • Assess people and organizational issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Deliver the People and Culture strategy and aligned HR plan
  • Guide delivery of Corporate HR initiatives, including DEI, Performance, Talent, and Engagement
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and participate in HR projects
  • Support employee and labour relations programs, initiatives, and complex issues
  • Develop and implement integrated talent strategies and solutions
  • Support employee capability building, team performance, succession planning, and leadership development
  • Lead workforce planning efforts
  • Champion culture and employee experience initiatives
  • Drive engagement action planning
  • Coach and guide managers on leadership practices
  • Assess business impacts, risks, and change management strategies
  • Lead organizational and work redesign efforts
  • Develop change management strategies that enhance adoption and minimize disruption

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience
  • University degree
  • Proven track record building relationships with leaders
  • Ability to provide robust recommendations, coach, influence, and drive change
  • Well-developed consulting skills
  • Strong problem identification and resolution capabilities
  • Experience using data and analysis to generate decision-making insights
  • Strategic thinking with demonstrated business and financial acumen
  • Experience with organizational design, talent management, and change management
  • Strong communication skills with experience communicating with senior leaders
  • Experience working within a unionized environment is an asset

Benefits

  • Salary range: $96,255 – $122,727 CAD annually (commensurate with experience)
