About the role

  • FATCA and CRS Analyst supporting tax reporting compliance at Manulife, an international financial services provider. Managing client remediation, regulatory controls, reporting readiness, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and action FATCA and CRS control reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Review change-in-circumstance, status change, and pending-status reports for remediation requirements
  • Complete remediation for pre-existing account reviews, threshold-based monitoring, and high-risk client requirements
  • Manage client outreach and follow-up for FATCA and CRS self-certifications and supporting documentation
  • Support annual FATCA and CRS reporting readiness and regulatory filing requirements
  • Provide guidance on FATCA and CRS operational requirements
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions on regulatory changes, testing, and audits
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen controls
  • Participate in automation, digital transformation, and process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain procedures, playbooks, job aids, and training materials

Requirements

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, technologies, and business processes
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage a high-volume workload
  • Attention to detail while meeting productivity, quality, and service standards
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative with minimal supervision
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Excel and Power BI
  • Strong aptitude for learning automation tools and digital solutions
  • Knowledge of FATCA, CRS, and High-Risk Clients is an asset
  • College diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset; required for successful candidates in Québec to support clients from various provinces outside Québec
