About the role
- Senior Performance Analyst developing Python, SQL, and Power BI solutions for Manulife, an international financial services provider. Supporting private markets performance analytics, automation, validation, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain performance analytics tools, including the Senior Loan Sylvan performance IRR module using Python
- Design, enhance, and deliver Power BI reporting solutions for Investment, Fund Valuation, Performance, and Client Reporting stakeholders
- Build and support centralized SQL database capabilities for private markets data
- Automate Power BI report generation
- Lead and coordinate automation initiatives, including the Bloomberg Port/Aladdin upload process
- Support daily performance data validation and compliance processes
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely reporting
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
- CFA candidacy or designation considered an asset
- Fully bilingual in French and English
- Strong SQL database knowledge
- Advanced Excel modelling skills
- Experience with Python
- Power BI expertise preferred
- Understanding of Private Assets and Fixed Income performance measurement, attribution, and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional work
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong planning, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Copilot Studio considered an asset
