About the role
- Project Manager coordinating maintenance and submetering operations for Metergy Solutions’ utility-monitoring business. Managing resources, contractors, troubleshooting, procurement, and project delivery across the GTA.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute and finalize Operations’ projects
- Manage resources, planning, approvals and procurement of materials
- Communicate with external teams
- Review ticket requests and prepare work instructions for contractors, technicians and project coordinators
- Execute resolutions and update documentation
- Troubleshoot meter deficiencies locally and remotely
- Provide technical analysis of drawings and electrical/mechanical systems
- Support contractors and internal staff
- Identify issues and develop mitigation plans to minimize business and client impact
- Drive continuous improvement in business operations
- Perform other tasks supporting Operations’ projects as necessary
Requirements
- Technical degree or diploma from a recognized university/college
- 4-5+ years of related experience in the maintenance and/or metering field
- Familiarity with electrical, water, gas and thermal metering/systems concepts is an asset
- Strong background in troubleshooting and problem solving
- Strong communication skills and professional attitude
- Must be able to travel to properties within GTA
- Position is a split of in-office and in-field work
- Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license
