About the role

  • Regional sales manager leading oncology representatives for a global biopharmaceutical company. Driving territory growth, market access, team performance, and healthcare stakeholder relationships across Ontario.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of oncology sales representatives to achieve sales and performance objectives
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies to maximize growth and market penetration
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and risks
  • Build relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and healthcare stakeholders
  • Ensure execution of brand plans and field initiatives aligned with business strategy
  • Monitor team performance against KPIs and implement action plans to address gaps
  • Collaborate with marketing, medical, market access, training, and other cross-functional teams
  • Ensure activities comply with laws, regulations, company policies, and industry codes
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and continuous development of team members
  • Prepare business reviews, forecasts, and territory plans for leadership

Requirements

  • Required bachelor’s degree in business, science, pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sales, preferably in oncology
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Strong understanding of oncology markets, treatment pathways, and customer segments
  • Demonstrated ability to drive performance and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and standard MS Office applications
  • Ability to travel as required within the assigned territory
  • Preferred experience launching or supporting specialty oncology products
  • Experience with hospital, clinic, and community oncology settings preferred
  • Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare environment and payer/access landscape preferred
  • Experience in matrixed, cross-functional organizations preferred
  • Valid driving license required
  • No visa sponsorship
