About the role

  • Customer Project Manager delivering Nokia customer programmes and projects within scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Managing customer relationships, project risks, forecasts, delivery, and contract outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer programmes or projects for defined product and/or service scopes within medium, large, and/or complex customer contracts
  • Deliver operational and project scope to customers
  • Align project and operational management with Nokia Mode of Operation, business guidelines, and PM@Nokia methodology
  • Plan customer projects and coordinate change management affecting cost, scope, schedule, and quality
  • Maintain consistency across project financial, product, and service forecasts
  • Participate in pre-sales and sales process activities
  • Determine delivery approach alternatives and manage selection of the recommended approach
  • Manage handover from Sell to Execute and from Delivery to Care
  • Initiate and execute project contract management processes
  • Customize global operational processes to meet project requirements
  • Manage customer relationships and serve as primary customer interface
  • Prepare and execute communications plans for customers and stakeholders
  • Monitor delivery against approved budget, profitability forecast, and planned scope
  • Ensure quality objectives, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction
  • Apply best practices and lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor, control, and report contract-defined KPIs
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date project data in tools and repositories
  • Manage project risks and opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to expand and renew customer contracts
  • Lead the project team and potentially perform line manager responsibilities
  • Complete project closure and/or handover activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Typically requires 5-8 years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree
  • Advanced skills and deep knowledge of a specific professional discipline
  • Ability to analyze, develop, and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert
  • Ability to operate autonomously and prioritize own work
  • Ability to analyze situations or data requiring review of relevant factors
  • Adaptability to manage complex, changing business environments
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external parties, including customers or vendors
  • Ability to influence others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
  • Cross-cultural knowledge and global mindset
  • Ability to communicate with executive leadership
  • May be required to negotiate operational issues
