About the role

  • Nokia Technical Project Manager delivering complex connectivity customer programs. Managing delivery, contracts, risks, forecasts, customer relationships, and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer programs or projects for defined product and service scopes in alignment with Nokia's Mode of Operation and guidelines
  • Plan and update customer project plans and coordinate change management for cost, scope, schedule, and quality
  • Ensure consistency among project financial, product, and service forecasts and participate in pre-sales and sales processes
  • Determine and manage delivery approach alternatives and select the final recommended approach
  • Oversee handovers from Sell to Execute and from Delivery to Care
  • Initiate and execute project contract management processes and customize global operational processes to project requirements
  • Manage customer relationships during delivery as the primary customer interface
  • Address customer complaints and changing requirements
  • Prepare and implement communication plans for customers and stakeholders
  • Monitor and control delivery within approved budgets and profitability forecasts
  • Ensure quality and customer satisfaction
  • Manage project risks and opportunities and seek opportunities to expand and renew customer contracts

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of extensive relevant experience in project management or a related field, or a graduate/postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline
  • Expertise in more than one area, with a broad perspective and deep knowledge of theory and practice within a function
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a project team, potentially performing line manager responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with ability to express complex information clearly and inspire others
  • Cross-cultural knowledge and a global mindset
  • Proven track record managing complex customer projects and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, including risk management and opportunity identification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and self-direct, developing and implementing innovative concepts and plans
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree (listed as the study level)
