Ingénieur en structure chez Norda Stelo, concevant et inspectant des ouvrages industriels, manufacturiers, commerciaux et institutionnels. Analyses structurales, rapports techniques et soutien aux projets multidisciplinaires.

Responsibilities

Design and size structural elements as part of multidisciplinary projects
Perform advanced structural analyses
Prepare, sign, and approve technical reports in accordance with applicable requirements and quality standards
Prepare and submit cost estimate reports
Collaborate with the project delivery team to ensure the quality of engineering work and projects
Provide technical assistance for on-site work
Participate in the preparation of proposals, contract documents, and bids
Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical practices and requirements
Actively participate in project management as the discipline engineer
Perform any other related duties associated with the Structural Engineer role
Design, analyze, and inspect a variety of structures in the industrial, manufacturing, commercial, and institutional sectors

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in structural element design
Proficiency in SAFI, ADA, Robot Structural Analysis, and/or STAAD Pro (required)
Excellent priority-management skills in a multidisciplinary environment
Technical rigor and a strong commitment to quality standards
Leadership and ability to influence
Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player
Fluency in spoken and written French
Functional knowledge of English may be required to ensure regular communication with English-speaking suppliers or partners
