About the role
- Engineering Manager securing NVIDIA's DGX Cloud AI infrastructure and massive GPU fleet. Building teams, security platforms, and scalable controls for cloud-scale AI operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and develop a distributed team of senior security and infrastructure engineers
- Own hiring, employee growth, and performance management
- Set technical direction and roadmap for the security control plane and foundational security services
- Guide the path toward autonomous security operations
- Run lightweight planning and reflection cycles focused on measurable outcomes
- Staff efforts with appropriately sized teams and clear accountable owners
- Maintain high engineering standards for tested code, observability, operational readiness, and documentation
- Translate complex security risks into actionable information for executives
- Turn risk assessment into measurable themes and make trade-offs clear
- Build partnerships across DGX Cloud platform, SRE, networking, and NVIDIA security teams
- Deliver through influence across vertically organized teams
Requirements
- Typically 7+ years managing engineers
- Typically 14+ years across software engineering, SRE, infrastructure, or security
- Technical depth in infrastructure, distributed systems, or security engineering
- Experience attracting, hiring, and developing engineers
- Experience building repeatable and fair interview and calibration practices
- Ability to deliver measurable outcomes under ambiguity
- Working understanding of cloud-native architecture
- Experience with Kubernetes/container orchestration
- Understanding of identity and access, policy enforcement, and vulnerability management
- Experience delivering through partner teams without direct authority
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Strong expertise in areas including infrastructure, security engineering, SRE, software engineering, or distributed systems
