About the role
- SIEM/SOAR information security analyst supporting Wepoint’s digital transformation services. Developing cybersecurity monitoring cases, alerts, dashboards, and security-control documentation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders involved in cybersecurity monitoring and alerting
- Create and improve monitoring use cases, alerts, and dashboards, and track the progress of related initiatives
- Establish and regularly review monitoring and alert-management practices
- Measure the effectiveness of existing security controls
- Develop and maintain appropriate documentation
- Collaborate with cybersecurity technology analysts by providing subject-matter expertise
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong knowledge of SIEM/SOAR software and environments, including Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and Palo Alto
- Experience developing use cases related to security logs
- Information security certification is an asset
- Up-to-date knowledge of information security, including emerging security solutions, vulnerabilities, and threat vectors
