About the role

  • People Operations Coordinator managing tier 1 HR operations, service desk tickets, and AI workflows. Supporting Optro’s AI-powered GRC platform and employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as process lead for tier 1 People Operations processes, including I-9 verifications, employee verifications and letters, elevated background checks, domestic and international relocation, working abroad requests, international business travel requests, and Workday processing
  • Manage HR Service Desk tickets by prioritizing, responding to, and resolving employee requests
  • Manage the HR inbox and direct communications to the appropriate person
  • Keep process documentation up to date as processes evolve
  • Maintain employee resources and People Team enablement materials
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through system automation and AI
  • Research, test, and implement AI workflows to reduce administrative tasks
  • Help drive employee self-service without compromising experience
  • Contribute to People Operations special projects, including program rollouts, system implementations, and systems integrations
  • Handle sensitive employee, customer, financial, and proprietary product information

Requirements

  • Min 1 year of experience as a People Ops, Recruiting Coordinator, or related experience
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to increase productivity
  • High curiosity to learn and explore new systems and experience with AI capabilities, including Google Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail with an emphasis on accurate employee data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of empathy with a focus on employee service
  • Ability to closely follow detailed processes while exercising problem-solving skills for unfamiliar requests
  • Ability to exercise solid judgment and identify when to escalate issues
  • Tech-savvy and skilled with learning new systems
  • Familiarity with Workday and experience executing business processes is nice to have but not required
  • Background checks are required
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the job is based
