Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines within the Microsoft ecosystem (Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory, Azure Functions)
Work directly with clients to understand their needs, propose appropriate technical solutions, and manage project follow-up
Document technical and functional architectures, data transformations and processes
Contribute to establishing engineering standards related to code quality, data quality, CI/CD, security and performance
Collaborate with other engineers to deliver stable, optimized and scalable solutions
Provide technical mentorship to colleagues and share best practices in data engineering and architecture
Implement data extraction processes via various APIs to integrate external data
Oversee deployments, operational costs and the performance of cloud solutions
Design and implement data governance and quality strategies, including metadata, security, privacy and cataloging
Stay up to date on cloud platforms, analytical architecture modernization and data governance

More than 5 years of experience in a similar role. Consulting experience or work in a multi-client environment is an asset
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
Experience with Spark and modern analytical architectures (ELT, medallion, star schema)
Experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (Functions, Storage, Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory)
Excellent communication skills in French and English
Rigor, curiosity and attention to detail
Strong results orientation and a strong customer-service focus
Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery or dbt (asset)
Microsoft certifications (Azure, Fabric, Power BI) (asset)
