About the role

  • Ingénieur(e) données concevant des pipelines et architectures analytiques Azure. Collaboration client et amélioration des standards de gouvernance, qualité et performance des données.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines within the Microsoft ecosystem (Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory, Azure Functions)
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs, propose appropriate technical solutions, and manage project follow-up
  • Document technical and functional architectures, data transformations and processes
  • Contribute to establishing engineering standards related to code quality, data quality, CI/CD, security and performance
  • Collaborate with other engineers to deliver stable, optimized and scalable solutions
  • Provide technical mentorship to colleagues and share best practices in data engineering and architecture
  • Implement data extraction processes via various APIs to integrate external data
  • Oversee deployments, operational costs and the performance of cloud solutions
  • Design and implement data governance and quality strategies, including metadata, security, privacy and cataloging
  • Stay up to date on cloud platforms, analytical architecture modernization and data governance

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of experience in a similar role. Consulting experience or work in a multi-client environment is an asset
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with Spark and modern analytical architectures (ELT, medallion, star schema)
  • Experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (Functions, Storage, Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory)
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English
  • Rigor, curiosity and attention to detail
  • Strong results orientation and a strong customer-service focus
  • Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery or dbt (asset)
  • Microsoft certifications (Azure, Fabric, Power BI) (asset)
