About the role

  • Bilingual project manager implementing PBS automotive dealership software. Leading client training, data conversion, integrations, and project delivery across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage software conversion projects, including planning, organizing, and executing all implementation activities
  • Develop detailed implementation plans and timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel and equipment, to support successful execution
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, timeline, and resource needs
  • Oversee customer training programs on PBS software and provide ongoing support for training-related issues
  • Monitor data conversion plans and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout the conversion process
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
  • Establish and maintain integrations with third-party systems, including CRM platforms, DMS providers, and other software vendors
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration and functionality
  • Maintain regular communication with dealership clients, internal teams, and stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues
  • Prepare and present weekly project progress reports, metrics, and documentation
  • Identify and mitigate implementation risks and issues
  • Document implementation processes and procedures for future maintenance and support
  • Obtain one PBS product certification within the first year of employment

Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • 1–3 years of experience working in a car dealership or the automotive industry
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of project management processes, methodologies, and workflows
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to two weeks per month
  • Valid passport required (or ability to obtain one)
  • U.S. visa if applicable
  • Full, valid, unrestricted driver's license required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, timelines, and resources simultaneously
  • Adaptability to adjust plans and strategies as needed
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, clients, and third-party vendors
  • PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a strong asset
  • High school diploma
