About the role

  • Bilingual project manager leading PBS Systems’ automotive dealership software conversions. Coordinating training, data migration, third-party integrations, and client implementation across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage software conversion projects for automotive dealership clients
  • Develop implementation plans and timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met
  • Coordinate project resources, including personnel and equipment
  • Define project goals, scope, timelines, and resource needs with customers and stakeholders
  • Oversee customer training programs and provide ongoing training support
  • Monitor data conversion from customers’ existing software to PBS Systems’ software
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security; troubleshoot data-related issues
  • Establish and maintain integrations with CRM platforms, DMS providers, and other third-party systems
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients and stakeholders
  • Prepare and present weekly project progress reports, metrics, and documentation
  • Identify and mitigate implementation risks and resolve problems
  • Document implementation processes and procedures for future maintenance and support
  • Obtain one PBS certification within the first year of employment

Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English, including speaking, reading, and writing
  • 1–3 years of experience working in a car dealership or the automotive industry
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Understanding of project management processes, methodologies, and workflows
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to two weeks per month
  • Valid passport, or ability to obtain one
  • U.S. visa, if applicable
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s licence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, timelines, and resources
  • Adaptability to adjust plans and strategies
  • Ability to collaborate with team members, clients, and third-party vendors
  • PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a strong asset
  • High school diploma
  • Obtain one PBS product certification within the first year of employment
