About the role
- Azure DevOps Administrator managing ADO environments, dashboards, workflows, and governance. Supporting PLATO’s software testing and technology services teams across Canada.
Responsibilities
- Administer Azure DevOps, including project setup, team configuration, area and iteration paths, permissions, and process templates
- Create dashboards in Azure DevOps and/or Power BI using live Azure DevOps data
- Configure workflows, including custom work item types, states, rules, and automation
- Provide backlog and sprint planning support
- Guide teams on Azure DevOps best practices
- Establish and enforce data quality, governance, and data entry standards within Azure DevOps
- Develop basic automation solutions using KQL, REST APIs, or Power Automate
- Create and maintain process documentation and user guidance for non-technical audiences
- Support planning, reporting, process governance, and tool administration for the Ways of Working function
Requirements
- Reliability or higher security clearance required at time of application
- Eligibility for secret clearance preferred
- 5+ years of experience administering Azure DevOps environments
- Experience creating dashboards and reporting solutions using Azure DevOps and/or Power BI
- Experience configuring workflows, work item types, states, rules, and automation
- Knowledge of backlog management, sprint planning, and Agile delivery practices
- Experience establishing and maintaining data quality and governance standards
- Basic scripting or query-writing skills using KQL, REST APIs, or Power Automate
- Strong written communication skills for process documentation and user guides
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
- Strong Excel skills for tracking and reporting
- Strong PowerPoint skills for executive reporting
