About the role
- Junior Data Modeler supporting MS Dynamics and Azure data models for PLATO, Canada’s Indigenous-owned software testing and technology services company. Contributing to data quality, profiling, documentation, and management initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining data models using MS Dynamics and Azure
- Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data models
- Support data management and modeling best practices
- Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Participate in data quality assessments and data cleansing efforts
- Document data models, data flows, and data dictionaries
- Assist with troubleshooting data-related issues
- Support the data management team
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to data modeling and management
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data modeling or related fields
- Familiarity with MS Dynamics and Azure platforms
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reliability or higher security clearance required at time of application
