About the role

  • Senior Marketing Automation Strategist building CRM integrations and lifecycle campaigns for POD Marketing, a full-service marketing, consulting, and HR agency. Driving technical QA, analytics, and scalable client marketing systems from Calgary.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage infrastructure connecting marketing automation platforms to CRMs
  • Configure and optimize client marketing automation platforms and industry CRMs
  • Design and maintain integrations, webhooks, API connections, field mappings, and database sync rules
  • Build, test, and optimize lead-routing workflows, lead-scoring models, SLA triggers, and lifecycle-stage rules
  • Oversee database health, field normalization, deduplication, and compliance standards
  • Construct modular email and landing-page templates, dynamic content blocks, pop-up logic, and tracking pixels
  • Execute multi-channel lifecycle campaigns, email workflows, automation logic, and list segmentation
  • Develop and deploy landing pages, dynamic content blocks, and webforms
  • Serve as the technical expert on client strategy calls
  • Review and audit technical builds and campaign configurations before deployment
  • Handle escalations involving technical bugs, API failures, and sync errors
  • Build attribution models, pipeline dashboards, and diagnostic reports
  • Document technical blueprints, data dictionaries, and integration specifications

Requirements

  • Legally able to work in Canada
  • Located in Calgary, AB
  • 4–6+ years of hands-on experience managing marketing automation platforms and CRM integrations within an agency or SaaS setting
  • Deep technical expertise in HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Strong understanding of CRM architecture
  • Ability to map data schemas, configure bi-directional syncs, and use middleware such as Zapier, Make, custom webhooks, and APIs
  • Strong attention to conditional logic, data formatting, lead scoring, and system triggers
  • Ability to explain complex technical architecture clearly to non-technical client stakeholders
  • Experience with senior living CRMs or healthcare/compliance-heavy industries (nice-to-have)
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email-template and web-form debugging (nice-to-have)
  • Working knowledge of multi-channel lifecycle marketing, including email, SMS, and CRO (nice-to-have)
  • Personalized cover letter or video cover letter required
