About the role
- DevOps Specialist scaling AWS infrastructure and automating deployments for Portage CyberTech’s digital trust, identity, privacy, and security solutions. Maintaining reliable cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of cloud infrastructure
- Develop, maintain, and evolve Infrastructure as Code
- Ensure security compliance and assess security measures
- Improve and maintain automated integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
- Develop or optimize tools and automations to simplify workflows
- Participate in production deployments and ensure their reliability
- Monitor and ensure the performance and availability of environments
- Explore and integrate AI-based solutions to improve performance, incident prediction, and operational automation
- Report to the Lead, DevOps
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of DevOps experience
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and principles, with experience applying them to enable fast deployments, service stability, and scalability
- Expertise in the AWS ecosystem and its key services
- Methodical and organized in managing tasks and projects, with a good understanding of Agile methodologies and tools
- Ability to communicate effectively in French
- Scripting and automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages
- Version control: Git and Git-based workflows
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or similar tools
- Containerization: Docker and container-based deployment technologies
- Cloud platforms: AWS, including ECS Fargate, EC2, Lambda, S3, ElastiCache, CloudWatch, and related services
- Monitoring, logging, and observability: CloudWatch, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and similar monitoring and logging tools
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL (including AWS Aurora), MongoDB (Atlas), and other relational or NoSQL databases
- Development and code quality tools: Maven, SonarQube, and familiarity with Java/Spring Boot microservices
- Collaboration and project management: Jira, Confluence, and Slack
- Messaging, identity, and security services: RabbitMQ, Keycloak, Twilio, and Entrust PKI
