About the role

  • HR Systems Manager optimizing BambooHR and global HR operations for Powerfleet, an AIoT SaaS mobile asset management company. Improving HR data, integrations, reporting, compliance, and employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize BambooHR, including configuration, workflows, custom fields, permissions, security roles, and integrations
  • Support system upgrades, testing, enhancements, module implementations, user acceptance testing, and change management
  • Troubleshoot HR system issues and partner with BambooHR support
  • Maintain accurate employee data throughout the global employee lifecycle
  • Develop HR dashboards, reports, and workforce analytics
  • Generate headcount, turnover, organizational, compliance, and workforce-planning reports
  • Design, document, and continuously improve global HR processes and workflows
  • Identify automation opportunities and improve employee and manager self-service
  • Develop process maps and standard operating procedures
  • Manage integrations with payroll, benefits, ATS, and SSO systems
  • Partner with Payroll, Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and resolve data discrepancies
  • Ensure HR systems comply with company policies and data privacy regulations
  • Maintain security controls, audit readiness, and data retention practices
  • Support internal and external audits with HR system documentation and reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS Administration, or People Systems
  • Direct, hands-on experience administering BambooHR is required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience developing HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics
  • Experience managing integrations with payroll, benefits, ATS, and SSO systems
  • Strong understanding of HR data management, reporting, and system administration best practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage confidential employee information with discretion and integrity
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to partner effectively across multiple business functions
  • Preferred: experience supporting a multi-region or global workforce
  • Preferred: experience in a post-merger integration or M&A environment
  • Preferred: experience implementing or optimizing HR systems and HR technology solutions
  • Preferred: experience with HR process automation and continuous improvement initiatives
