Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for designated business units across the United States and Canada
Provide strategic HR guidance to leaders and managers
Partner on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent strategies
Coach leaders on leadership effectiveness, team development, and organizational challenges
Provide guidance on U.S. and Canadian employment legislation and ensure compliance
Lead and support employee relations matters, workplace investigations, performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and terminations
Partner with Legal and HR leadership on complex employee issues
Collaborate on compensation planning, market benchmarking, merit increases, promotions, and organizational changes
Support performance reviews, compensation planning, employee engagement initiatives, and talent reviews
Lead HR initiatives supporting restructuring, integration, acquisitions, and business transformation projects
Analyze workforce metrics and HR data and provide actionable recommendations
Partner with Payroll, Legal, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and business leaders
Support enterprise-wide HR initiatives and evolve HR programs, policies, and best practices across North America
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
7+ years of progressive Human Resources Business Partner experience supporting both U.S. and Canadian employee populations
Strong working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and U.S. federal and state employment laws
