Responsibilities
Provide strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for finance in collaboration with the Director of Finance and Reporting.
Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, capital assets, and treasury functions.
Oversee preparation of the financial statements.
Enhance systems of internal control.
Effectively manage staff.
Provide operational accountability, creative leadership, and oversight across the finance portfolio.
Continually evaluate best industry practices against internal systems and services.
Consider future organizational needs and improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related clinical discipline.
CPA designation.
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in complex health systems, with direct oversight of budgeting and financial services.
Demonstrated success in strategic planning, capital projects, and technology implementation.
Strong knowledge of accounting guidelines, accreditation standards and regulatory frameworks.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
Proven ability to lead teams through change and foster continuous improvement.
Experience leading interdisciplinary project teams.
Experience in Clinical Informatics, professional practice and/or project management.
Demonstrated use of theory and research/evidence-based outcomes in practice.
