About the role

  • Senior Implementation Consultant delivering Prophix One FP&A and CPM implementations for enterprise finance teams. Leading client configuration, training, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of medium to large, complex Prophix One FP&A and CPM implementations
  • Run discovery sessions and solution design workshops independently
  • Translate complex client requirements into scalable Prophix configurations
  • Own engagement quality, timelines, and commercial outcomes from pre-kickoff scoping through post-go-live hypercare
  • Manage multiple concurrent complex client projects
  • Balance timelines, risks, dependencies, and client expectations while proactively managing scope
  • Serve as an escalation point for delivery, scope, technical, and stakeholder issues
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with CFOs, VPs of Finance, Controllers, and other senior client stakeholders
  • Lead client training, workshops, and knowledge-transfer sessions
  • Communicate project health, risks, and strategic decisions to client leadership
  • Mentor Consultant-level colleagues and act as a subject matter expert
  • Lead and contribute to internal methodology, tooling, and best-practice initiatives across the North America region
  • Contribute to pre-sales scoping, effort estimation, and solution demonstrations
  • Embed AI-assisted workflows into delivery practice to improve efficiency and output quality

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in a consulting, implementation, or finance systems role
  • Demonstrated track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder engagements end-to-end
  • Proven ability to independently run full-cycle FP&A or CPM implementations covering discovery, solution design, configuration, and training
  • Deep working knowledge of GAAP, FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and planning, and financial statement preparation
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, including financial modelling and platform configuration
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with confidence engaging CFO- and VP-level stakeholders
  • Strong project management discipline and experience managing multiple concurrent implementations using structured planning tools and methodologies
  • Based in the Greater Toronto Area
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally as required with a valid passport
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve delivery productivity, documentation quality, or client-facing outputs
  • Curious mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Able to learn new tools and adapt as technology and workflows evolve
  • Collaborative mindset when working across teams and with AI-supported tooling
  • Preferred: hands-on experience implementing Prophix One or comparable CPM platforms such as Anaplan, OneStream, Adaptive, or TM1/Planning Analytics
  • Preferred: experience with ERP data integration patterns across SAP, Unit4, NetSuite, or Dynamics 365
  • Preferred: professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA
