About the role

  • Senior finance leader driving global FP&A, consolidation, and ERP transformation for semiconductor company Ranovus. Partnering with R&D, manufacturing, sales, and international operations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage global budgets and rolling forecasts across multinational teams
  • Deliver variance analysis and financial insight to department heads
  • Design and execute project accounting for R&D and Operations initiatives
  • Ensure project accounting aligns with SR&ED and grant reporting requirements
  • Support Manufacturing with standard costing, inventory valuation, and product-line margin analysis
  • Lead selection and implementation of a cloud FP&A tool
  • Scope the migration from QuickBooks Online to an enterprise ERP such as NetSuite or Sage Intacct
  • Manage month-end and quarter-end reporting
  • Manage year-end close and external audits
  • Manage government and SR&ED audits
  • Maintain GAAP/IFRS-compliant internal controls
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a small finance team
  • Present financial updates to senior leadership and the CFO
  • Act as financial partner to R&D, PLM, Sales, and Manufacturing Operations across Canada, Germany, and the USA

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience (144 months)
  • Direct, hands-on ownership of financial analysis, reporting, and consolidation
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring a finance team
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with technology, manufacturing, and/or R&D teams
  • Semiconductor industry experience considered an asset
  • Experience leading multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation
  • Experience leading or supporting ERP implementations or system migrations
  • Advanced Excel/MS Office skills
  • Working knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI and ERP systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce
  • CPA designation is an asset
  • Strong business judgment and communication skills
  • Comfort operating across time zones and cultures in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
