About the role

  • Overnight Banking Advisor supporting RBC, Canada’s largest bank, through phone, email, chat, video, social media, and mobile channels. Resolving banking concerns and educating clients on digital capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with RBC clients through phone, email, chat, video, social media, and mobile channels
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and make every client interaction exceptional
  • Respond empathetically to client questions and assist with banking solutions
  • Resolve client concerns at the first point of contact
  • Support colleagues in meeting client needs and contribute to team results
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC team
  • Adhere to compliance routines, processes, and controls to manage risk and protect client and shareholder interests
  • Educate and assist clients with RBC digital capabilities

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently
  • Proven time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional client service capability across multiple channels, including phone and video
  • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships, preferably in the financial or service industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion and curiosity to help clients meet their needs and solve concerns
  • Digital literacy across smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices
  • Above-average keyboarding skills
  • Internet and computer navigation skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts Monday to Sunday, 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
  • Customer service experience providing needs-based solutions is an asset
  • Team and metrics-based performance environment experience is an asset
  • Contact/Call Centre or fast-paced financial/service industry experience is an asset
