About the role

  • RBC Financial Advisor serving Windsor-area personal and small business clients. Providing credit, investment, and banking advice while growing relationships, sales, and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients to learn about their needs and help them achieve their goals
  • Provide professional advice and education addressing complex personal and business credit and investment needs
  • Collaborate with financial planning, retirement planning, mortgage, and business banking professionals
  • Leverage technology to deliver client experiences and drive sales and retention
  • Resolve and prevent clients’ banking problems
  • Implement contact and relationship-building strategies
  • Support new client acquisition in the local community
  • Educate clients about RBC products and services
  • Help clients use digital banking, including mobile, ATM, and online banking
  • Attract, nurture, and grow relationships with high-value personal and small business clients

Requirements

  • Valid Mutual Funds accreditation: Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course
  • Completed Certificate in Financial Services Advice through CSI, including Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I
  • 2–3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Digital literacy across smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices
  • Successful incumbent must be mobile within the Windsor and surrounding markets
  • Fluency in a second language is nice-to-have
  • Active participation in the local community and a solid local network are nice-to-have
