About the role

  • Health strategy advisor improving Peel Region healthcare performance and outcomes. Leading strategic planning, quality improvement, change management, and community partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies and tactical plans
  • Build internal and partner competency and capacity to lead continuous quality improvement through change and transformation
  • Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias
  • Work with organizational supports on department-wide strategies and frameworks, including budget planning, quality, and risk management
  • Assist the Director and divisional leadership team with strategic planning and administrative affairs
  • Provide expertise on strategic and business decision-making
  • Lead or support execution of strategic initiatives across Health Services
  • Liaise with leadership, health system, and community partners
  • Strengthen organizational performance, service quality, and health outcomes for residents and communities

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of project management, quality, and change management
  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant job experience
  • Combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Proven ability to build, develop, and maintain cooperative, collaborative, and strategic relationships with internal and external partners
  • Sound understanding of organizational development and change management theories
  • Demonstrated knowledge of performance measurement, strategic planning, and quality improvement tools
  • Familiarity with organizational and systems change capacity and advancing cultural shifts
  • Experience conducting complex and sensitive investigations and analysis
  • Off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario
  • Ability to work a minimum of two days per week on-site
  • Availability for in-person interviews
