Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership to a multidisciplinary team for an assigned engine module or system Integrated Product Team (IPT)
Define and achieve product design requirements
Manage IPTs to achieve program objectives and stakeholder requirements
Lead design verification, validation, and certification activities
Meet program schedule and budget commitments
Assist the Program Director and Program Managers as required
Interface with customers through Engineering Module/System Management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience, or a master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience
Strong understanding of gas turbine engines gained through one or more engineering disciplines
Proven technical leadership
Ability to identify opportunities and challenges and recommend solutions
Highly adaptable
Strong organizational and communication skills
Self-starter committed to bringing tasks to completion
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to anticipate future business opportunities and requirements
Availability to travel, both between company sites and externally
Flexibility with working hours
Very good command of English, with the ability to read, understand, write, and communicate with customers, suppliers, and international colleagues
The selected candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check and obtain the required controlled goods clearances
