About the role

Responsibilities
- Support managers and senior consultants in delivering government grant consulting services to clients, in French and English
- Research government funding programs and assess client eligibility
- Prepare analyses, grant applications and related documentation
- Prepare hiring- and training-related grant applications
- Support production of compliance reports following approvals
- Monitor new programs and changes to existing programs
- Communicate with granting authorities to clarify requirements
- Keep the internal database and program summaries up to date
- Assist senior consultants in preparing grant analysis reports for manager review
- Prepare hiring- and training-related grants for manager review
- Prepare responses to granting authorities as required
- Perform any other related duties as needed
- Interact regularly with employees, clients and external vendors in person, by email and by phone
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in Business/Administration, Accounting, Finance, Political Science, Journalism or a Science is required
- General knowledge of federal and provincial grants is a major asset
- Knowledge of business development is a major asset
- Knowledge of business plan writing is a major asset

- Solid intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and web navigation/research
- Valid driver’s license required
