Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT HCM team members, and multiple functional areas to deliver HR business and technical solutions
Develop, support, and sustain integrations between Workday HCM and internal and external HR and non-HR systems including ADP, WorkforceSoftware, iChris Payroll, and ResourceLink Payroll
Perform analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Workday integrations, including Studio and .NET (C#) applications
Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements/specifications
Identify and design integration solution options and provide detailed work estimates
Participate in implementation, deployment, and support of HR applications, particularly Workday integrations
Sustain the operation of HCM applications and their system development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare support
Interpret integration business requirements and issues and recommend optimal solutions
Assess, review, and document integration solution options and cross-functional impacts
Present work in structured walkthroughs to IT team members and business users
Collaborate with IT analysts, specialists, solution architects, and software vendors on architecture strategy, roadmaps, standards, and governance
Investigate, analyze, and resolve production system issues during standard working hours and exceptionally during off-hours
Further develop technical and functional knowledge of Workday HCM modules including Core HCM, Recruitment, Onboarding, Benefits, Learning, Absences, and Canada/US Payroll
Keep up to date on Workday HCM integration leading practices
Work with remote business and IT teams across multiple geographies and time zones
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
Workday HR Integrations experience is a must
Cross functional exposure and deep hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connectors, WECI, PECI/PICOF, RaaS, Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, XML/XSLT, and Document Transformation
Previous experience developing all types of Workday HCM integrations
Previous experience in Workday HCM implementation projects
4+ years of solid Workday HCM Integrations development experience
5+ years of Workday HR implementation experience with expertise and strong business acumen in HR functional integration
Knowledge of HR business processes and their integration with other process areas (e.g. Finance, PM, etc.)
Relevant experience in multiple Workday deployments as Integrations SME throughout the SDLC (requirements gathering, process solution design, config/build, testing, deployment and support)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Adept at building relationships with internal teams and external partners
Ability to collaborate with a global team and collaborate at all levels
Ability to operate in a complex, fast-paced project environment with interdependencies spanning multiple work-streams, teams, business divisions, geographies, time zones, & languages
Willingness to learn and with a hands-on approach
Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and SharePoint
English (spoken and written)
French (spoken) a plus
Previous experience with integrations of other HR solutions and systems (nice to have)
Project Management experience or successful completion of a recognised project management curriculum (nice to have)
Required to communicate and collaborate in English and French, both orally and in writing, with colleagues or other stakeholders located in Québec, elsewhere in Canada, or across North America
