About the role

  • Marketing communications manager leading integrated campaigns for Scene+, Canada’s lifestyle loyalty program. Driving member engagement, partner initiatives, measurement, and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of integrated marketing communications.
  • Develop communications plans supporting member engagement, partner marketing, acquisition initiatives, sponsorships, and new partner launches.
  • Establish priorities and campaign objectives aligned with broader business goals.
  • Oversee integrated marketing initiative delivery across internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables while anticipating risks and removing roadblocks.
  • Coach, develop, and performance-manage a Marketing Communications Coordinator.
  • Evaluate campaign performance and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Refine marketing communications strategies using data-informed learnings.
  • Build cross-functional partnerships across Partnerships, Brand, Digital, CRM, Analytics, Creative, and external agencies.
  • Provide oversight for internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to Scene+'s member engagement and business growth as a Canadian loyalty program.

Requirements

  • Experience developing and leading integrated marketing communications strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Ability to translate business goals into compelling multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing multiple high-profile marketing initiatives simultaneously.
  • Project and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with structure, organization, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities.
  • Ability to make evidence-based recommendations and balance creativity with measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong communication, influencing, collaboration, consensus-building, and presentation skills.
  • Professionalism when working with agencies and internal teams.
  • Ongoing legal eligibility to work in Canada.
