Responsibilities
Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for hardware and software projects, including robot feature development, continuous upgrade projects, and new product development
Lead and coordinate efforts across hardware and software engineering teams, product managers, operations teams, and business stakeholders
Gather requirements, align priorities, and communicate project status updates
Develop and implement processes that streamline workflows and improve efficiency
Help teams set up and execute sprints to prioritize and track work
Analyze and update existing processes and identify areas for optimization and improvement
Coordinate broad communication efforts to keep all teams informed and aligned
Create technical specifications, roadmaps, project plans, and status reports
Requirements
BS degree in Mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or another equivalent engineering discipline
3–5 years of experience in engineering program management or technical program management
3–5 years of experience with hardware, systems, or autonomous systems development processes
Experience articulating technical concepts to technical and non-technical partners
Strong track record managing complex cross-functional projects and shipping product features in a production environment
Experience building working relationships with senior leaders and engineers across functions and departments
Ability to maintain the big picture and provide clear, well-structured, concise communications tailored to the audience
Experience in robotics and autonomous systems, especially those operating in public spaces (standout qualification)
Experience with products involving policy or regulatory aspects (standout qualification)
