About the role
- Research Assistant coordinating Sidekick’s fully virtual Canadian ankle-sprain device clinical study. Screening participants, conducting video visits, monitoring diaries, and recording protocol data.
Responsibilities
- Screen and enroll participants
- Run virtual study visits by video
- Guide participants through standardized functional assessments
- Monitor daily symptom diaries and follow up on missed entries
- Record data in the electronic data capture system according to protocol
- Work alongside the study's physiotherapist investigator on assessment training
- Work alongside a clinical trial consultant on protocol compliance
Requirements
- Graduate degree (or in progress) in a health-related field: physiotherapy, kinesiology, nursing, public health, rehabilitation science, or similar
- Experience with human-subject research, ideally in a coordinator or RA role
- Current GCP certification, or willingness to complete it before start
- Comfortable running structured video sessions with participants and keeping meticulous records
- Available 20–25 hours per week, with some flexibility for participant scheduling (evenings/weekends)
- Based in Canada
