About the role
- Logistics Coordinator supporting Silver Hills’ healthy food operations through shipment scheduling, tracking, and documentation. Resolving carrier issues and coordinating warehouse, supplier, and customer logistics.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day flow of goods
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, suppliers, and customers
- Track shipments in transit and proactively communicate delays, exceptions, or changes to stakeholders
- Prepare and review shipping documentation
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders on load scheduling and dock appointments
- Support continuous improvement efforts within the Logistics team
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, and claims with carriers and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work flexible shifts to cover vacations, sick days, or leave when required
- Work occasional extra hours to address time-sensitive matters
