About the role

  • Customer marketing leader building advocacy, lifecycle programs, and communities for samdesk’s AI-powered risk detection platform. Driving engagement, referrals, adoption, and expansion revenue across global security teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer engagement and advocacy across samdesk's global base of security and risk teams
  • Build a community of samdesk champions that fuels expansion, referrals, and net dollar retention
  • Own the customer marketing pillar of samdesk's marketing strategy and represent the voice of the customer
  • Build strategy, programs, campaigns, and community initiatives that increase customer value and adoption of new products or use cases
  • Build customer relationships through campaigns and value-add communications supporting renewals, referrals, and expansion
  • Scale customer engagement programs including product training, news, ROI tools, and use cases
  • Develop customer communication and community programs, including newsletters, webinars, events, a customer advisory board, and a customer summit
  • Build lifecycle marketing strategy across onboarding, adoption, maturity, expansion, and advocacy
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success on campaigns for new capabilities, products, and use cases
  • Lead customer advocacy and reference programs, developing customer stories, testimonials, peer references, event speakers, and referrals
  • Build a customer intelligence program to capture and share customer feedback and recurring themes
  • Own the Voice of Customer program, including NPS and customer satisfaction measurement
  • Partner with Customer Success and Account Management on targeted engagement programs
  • Develop customer segmentation and engagement strategies based on lifecycle stage, products, use cases, maturity, and expansion opportunities
  • Report to the CMO

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on communications, marketing, or business
  • 5+ years of experience in customer marketing, customer success, or customer service
  • Experience leading the development and implementation of a customer loyalty or advocacy program
  • Experience marketing to enterprise or B2B technology, SaaS, or security customers is an asset
  • Technical knowledge of digital marketing tools and channels, including CRM platforms, customer loyalty and referral platforms, and marketing automation platforms
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement, advocacy, and expansion revenue
  • Ability to translate customer insights into compelling campaigns, stories and programs
  • Strong passion for serving and understanding customers in high-stakes, fast-moving environments
  • Effective interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Strategic thinking and ability to execute hands-on
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to build an impactful customer marketing program
  • Strong, adaptable self-starter able to take ownership and address challenges proactively
  • Ability to work autonomously with a geographically distributed team
  • Legal ability to travel within Canada, the United States, and internationally as needed
