About the role

Responsibilities
- Resolve complex issues related to mechanical systems and diagnose critical failures
- Develop and optimize functional test procedures for mechanical systems
- Ensure compliance with engineering requirements and identify required specialized tooling
- Collaborate with engineering to review, validate, and implement technical requirements
- Plan, manage, and supervise the implementation of production changes
- Minimize the operational impact of changes
- Provide in-depth technical support to production teams
- Continuously improve operational processes
Requirements
- DEC in Aircraft Maintenance (or equivalent) with a minimum of three to five (3–5) years of aviation experience
- Essential knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, initiative, and sound technical judgment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Bilingualism required
- Knowledge of SAP, Macpac, and Quicksilver is an asset
- Knowledge of Challenger products (Bombardier) is a significant asset
