Responsibilities
- Analyze business and operational needs and recommend improvements
- Design, develop and maintain Azure DevOps organizational configurations
- Define and evolve standards, governance rules, project structures and best practices
- Support standardization of naming conventions, terminology and processes
- Collaborate with Microsoft experts to ensure alignment with best practices
- Optimize projects, teams, processes, Work Items, Backlogs, Boards, Repositories, Pipelines and environments
- Review and improve the structure of Agile, Lean and DevOps processes
- Design and implement quality and compliance control mechanisms
- Manage permissions, security and access
- Design and maintain management dashboards and performance indicators
- Develop and optimize Azure DevOps ↔ Power BI integrations
- Contribute to Azure DevOps ↔ Dynamics 365 Project Operations integration
- Define KPIs and tracking metrics; optimize queries, filters, views and data extractions
- Support users, managers and project teams in the effective use of Azure DevOps
- Prepare and deliver training at various levels
- Document developments, configurations, processes and business rules
- Maintain a register of limitations, issues and enhancement requests
- Keep up to date with technology trends in Microsoft, DevOps, Agile and Lean practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Management or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a system lead, acquired within the last 10 years
- Minimum 5 years in administration, configuration or governance of Azure DevOps
- Advanced proficiency with Azure DevOps Services: Organizations, Projects, Boards, Work Items, Dashboards, Git Repositories, YAML Pipelines, Test Plans
- Good knowledge of the Azure DevOps APIs
- Demonstrated experience implementing Agile, Lean, DevOps or SAFe practices
- Experience with Power BI and leveraging Azure DevOps data
- Experience defining standards, norms and governance frameworks
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Azure integration mechanisms
- Knowledge of Microsoft AI capabilities (Copilot, Azure AI, Power Platform AI Builder) and responsible AI principles
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Project Operations
- Required certifications: Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (or equivalent), SAFe/Scrum/Agile certification, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP) or equivalent, Microsoft AI-900 or equivalent
- Super-user certifications for DevOps, Dynamics and M365
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Client-focused, results-driven and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to structure processes and ensure organizational adoption
