About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Provide functional and technical leadership within projects.
  • Make recommendations for the development and implementation of complex projects.
  • Review code and architecture to ensure compliance with the company’s development standards and industry best practices.
  • Write, modify, review, optimize, and debug computer code.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of work methods and procedures.
  • Select libraries and development paradigms.
  • Identify opportunities for code reuse across completed projects.
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance activities.
  • Participate in the service proposal writing process.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technology options.
  • Participate in effort estimation, problem-solving, and quality assurance.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced employees.
  • Improve the efficiency and quality of the company’s development processes.

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of experience developing digital solutions.
  • Significant experience leading project teams.
  • Strong expertise in front-end architecture with Angular, with openness to back-end technologies in C++ and/or Python.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Understanding and knowledge of software architecture.
  • Client-focused approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience starting projects from scratch and comprehensive experience across the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to meet established objectives within required timelines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of unit testing.
  • Good knowledge of Agile principles and ceremonies.
  • French-English bilingualism is essential for collaborating with internal and external clients across North America.
