About the role
- Intern working alongside experienced practitioners on complex civil engineering projects at Stantec. Hands-on experience in project execution and technical competencies in infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provide general support to the project management team, including administrative tasks.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
- Help prepare project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
- Assist in preparing drawings, calculations, drafting technical reports, memorandums, and other technical documents.
Requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary civil engineering program with availability for a 4-8 month internship.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering degree program.
