Responsibilities
work as a junior to intermediate Electrical Engineer in Training, reporting to a P.Eng. team lead
deliver on buildings projects throughout the province and country
support in the design of electrical systems for buildings
provide drawings & calculations, report writing and attendance in meetings
assisting in the design and coordination of projects of varying complexity/size
coordination with the lead engineer to evaluate, select, specify, and engineer electrical systems or products for a project
development of a design from preliminary concepts through the construction document stage
participate in project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor
assist with developing and managing the project scope, budget, staffing and schedule
participate in constructability reviews
quality assurance and quality control on projects
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering / Integrated Engineering / Engineering Physics OR Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
2+ years of experience in the Buildings Industry is an asset
EIT, AScT, P.Eng., P.L.Eng. eligibility an asset
