About the role

  • Digital Publishing Coordinator managing workloads, ensuring deadlines, and performing quality assurance audits for Sun Life's digital publishing initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the team’s daily workload and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Monitor and triage the Global Publishing Intake queue within set service level agreements
  • Oversee intakes for quality assurance and maintaining the intake system
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to complete small publishing requests across multiple Sun Life websites
  • Routinely perform website accessibility and quality assurance audits
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for web intakes, including support and escalation
  • Ensure accurate recording of data to enable and support reporting and measurement
  • Monitor the team's inbox
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients and internal team members as necessary
  • Identify relevant training needs, provide recommendations, and update training documents
  • Oversee intakes for quality assurance, maintain the intake application, and orchestrate administrative duties as necessary

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a Coordinator or Specialist role
  • Understanding of digital technology and digital channels
  • Experience with request intake tools and workflow management
  • Experience consulting with stakeholders and driving digital solutions to meet business requirements
  • Adaptive to change and mentally flexible
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent communication, time management, organization, and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with basic HTML coding, CSS, and JavaScript are an asset
  • Previous experience working in content management applications, in particular Adobe AEM is an asset but not required
  • Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) in web content publishing and site management
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and situational analysis
  • Ability to work independently
  • Developed client management skills, especially discretion and diplomacy in dealing with stakeholders
  • Highly motivated to learn and work in digital technologies
