About the role
- Project Manager leading Sunrise Farms’ poultry manufacturing digital transformation. Delivering Snowflake data platforms, ERP integrations, reporting governance, and enterprise technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assign, track, and manage tasks for technical teams of data integration analysts, report analysts, and other specialists
- Manage technical and business resources from ERP implementation partners and other vendors; track vendor hours against budget
- Manage and enable a cross-functional tiger team validating solutions and reporting, and communicate project progress to stakeholders
- Implement master data management processes
- Enhance the SQL-based data warehouse to sustain reporting during the phased Syspro ERP rollout
- Establish reporting governance and a reporting center of excellence
- Maintain a backlog of reports
- Lead implementation of a Snowflake data platform with medallion architecture
- Manage dependencies and resource constraints across program projects
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Apply waterfall or hybrid project management best practices
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and change requests
- Facilitate workshops, steering committee updates, and decision-making sessions with executive sponsors and stakeholders
- Lead enterprise projects and strategic initiatives, including future AI, IoT, CRM, TMS, QMS, and M&A-related projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or ITIL certifications considered an asset
- 8+ years of progressive project management experience, including at least 3 years managing large-scale enterprise IT or digital transformation projects
- Hands-on experience managing technology implementations involving enterprise software vendors and systems integrators
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in manufacturing, industrial, or asset-intensive environments preferred
- Hands-on technical experience such as in ELT, SQL Stored Procedures, Python or in pipes, coding, or scripting that connects to databases
- Familiarity with data governance, data platforms, or analytics modernization projects preferred
- Strong technical competency with data related topics
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on delivering results
- Ability to lead multiple projects and initiatives at the same time
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation abilities across all organizational levels
- Strategic thinking with ability to dive into execution details
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
