Tire & Lube Technician responsible for vehicle maintenance and safety for Ledcor's fleet operations. Performing oil changes, tire services, and preventative maintenance safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, lubrication, and tire services
Drain and replace engine oil in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards
Inspect, top up, and replace essential vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid
Lubricate vehicle components, including wheel bearings and other moving parts, to support safe and reliable operation
Replace common maintenance items such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers, and batteries
Perform multi-point vehicle inspections, including brake measurements and underbody inspections, and accurately document findings through work orders
Inspect tire condition, tread depth, wear patterns, and tire pressure, recommending repairs or replacements as required
Repair minor tire punctures, replace valve stems, and mount and balance new tires
Maintain accurate service records while following company procedures and safety standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Previous experience performing tire services, oil changes, and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment
Must possess a full, valid driver's licence and be able to provide current Standard and CVOR Driver's Abstracts with an acceptable driving record
3–5 years of related experience is considered an asset
Previous experience in a similar Tire & Lube Technician or automotive service role
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to inspect and identify maintenance requirements
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience completing work orders and maintenance documentation
College, trade, or technical education is considered an asset
First-year 310T or 310S apprenticeship or certification is considered an asset
