About the role
- Marketing Events Specialist delivering conferences, trade shows, and customer events for Tecsys, a healthcare supply-chain technology company. Coordinating vendors, budgets, logistics, and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute events from concept to completion
- Coordinate timelines, budgets, vendors, logistics, and stakeholders
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, and Creative teams to deliver engaging event experiences
- Manage registrations, sponsorships, signage, shipping, catering, A/V requirements, and on-site support
- Track event performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Help build scalable event processes and best practices across Tecsys
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in events, event marketing, field marketing, marketing programs, or a related role
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
- Experience working with vendors, budgets, and event logistics
- Ability to work independently while building cross-functional relationships
- Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel and provide on-site event support when required
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada, or have a valid Canadian work permit
