About the role

Responsibilities
- Conduct and oversee forest inventories and field surveys in accordance with current standards
- Validate, analyze, and structure collected data
- Perform digitization (vectorization) and geospatial data processing in GIS environments (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Prepare technical reports, produce maps, and carry out analyses that meet contractual requirements
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure deliverable compliance and quality
- Participate in the planning and organization of project-related activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in forestry engineering or a related field
- Active, in‑good‑standing member of the OIFQ (Ordre des ingénieurs forestiers du Québec) — required
- Proficiency with GIS tools (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) in a professional setting
- Excellent writing skills for producing technical documentation
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote work setting
- Rigour, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
