About the role

Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and integration of technology architectures
- Produce technology analyses and recommendations
- Deploy network infrastructure
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of wired and wireless networks
- Administer and enhance firewalls
- Manage infrastructure configurations and events
- Evaluate new products
- Diagnose complex network issues
- Automate configuration deployment
- Participate in changes and production releases
- Provide support during complex incidents
- Monitor service performance
- Maintain technical documentation
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing networks, telecommunications equipment, and firewalls
- Experience completing 2 large-scale bastion host deployment projects
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with collection and logging solutions such as Syslog, Splunk, or Elastic Stack
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with configuration management platforms such as SolarWinds NCM, ManageEngine NCM, or Cisco Prime
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing firmware and remediating vulnerabilities
- Minimum of 5 years of experience automating configurations, particularly with SolarWinds NCM or Ansible
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with ARP, DHCP, DNS, or NTP
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with VLANs, 802.1Q, or VRRP
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with EIGRP or OSPF
- Minimum of 3 years of experience configuring multi-zone firewall rules
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with wireless networks
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with VPN tunnels: IPSec, TLS, or GRE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with cloud telecommunications
