About the role

  • Teladoc Health Canada technology executive leading virtual-care strategy, digital products, cybersecurity, data, and innovation. Driving secure, scalable platforms and technology operations across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Teladoc Health Canada’s technology, product, innovation, and cybersecurity strategy
  • Lead development and delivery of the Canadian digital products and technology ecosystem
  • Set the digital strategy and multi-year technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and global strategy
  • Lead enterprise architecture, applications, integrations, infrastructure, digital platforms, cybersecurity, data, analytics, technology operations, and innovation
  • Own budgets, portfolios, project management, resource allocation, and value delivery for digital initiatives
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with technology partners and vendors
  • Lead the multi-year product roadmap and translate market, regulatory, clinical, and operational requirements into digital products
  • Champion user-centred design and incorporate client, clinician, patient, and internal user perspectives
  • Implement the enterprise data governance framework and champion analytics, business intelligence, and AI capabilities
  • Oversee Canadian enterprise data and analytics for strategic planning, performance measurement, forecasting, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with legal, privacy, and compliance teams on regulatory, security, clinical-quality, data, AI, and vendor-risk governance
  • Establish technology governance frameworks covering enterprise architecture, SDLC, cybersecurity, cloud, data, and AI
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technology and cybersecurity risks
  • Ensure reliable, scalable, secure IT operations, business continuity, and compliance
  • Oversee monitoring, incident management, issue triage, root cause analysis, vulnerability management, identity and access management, incident response, disaster recovery, and security controls
  • Lead technology support services for clinicians, clients, and internal users while coordinating with global and international teams
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary technology organization
  • Strengthen capabilities across product management, software engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, data and AI, cloud, infrastructure, and operations
  • Foster innovation, continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, security-by-design, and user-centred product development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Informatics, Business, or related field
  • 12+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in technology, product management, digital transformation, and/or data and analytics
  • Experience within healthcare, virtual/hybrid care, or a highly regulated sector
  • Ability to develop and execute technology strategies aligned with organizational objectives and measurable business outcomes
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, data and analytics, AI, and emerging technology trends
  • Experience leading technology modernization, digital transformation, and enterprise technology operations
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills
  • Ability to collaborate with clinical, commercial, operations, legal, privacy, compliance, and global counterparts
  • Success leading multidisciplinary, distributed, high-performing teams in a complex multinational corporate structure
  • Strategic planning and execution capabilities
  • Proven experience managing technology portfolios, product roadmaps, budgets, vendors, and delivery outcomes
  • Ability to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation
