About the role

  • Pension Technician providing essential administrative services related to defined benefit pension plans. Delivering professional service and handling member inquiries with precision and care.

Responsibilities

  • Process member updates (address, name, language changes) and track cases through Tasknet
  • Handle tax-related updates, including TD1 forms, T4A and RL-V2 mailings, aligned with payroll cycles
  • Respond to tax inquiries and send reach-out letters for missing information
  • Manage BMOI and personal mail inboxes; assign mailings to C'Ops and draft correspondence
  • Input client information into internal databases and maintain accurate records
  • Examine documents and case files; respond to member and client inquiries
  • Provide support and training to Call Centre staff
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • College diploma in office administration or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and team collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suite
  • Proven attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in pension plan administration (asset)
