Requirements

  • At least five years experience reporting for a news organization
  • Interest and experience covering politics
  • Ability to identify Alberta issues that resonate beyond the province
  • Strong writing with a versatile range, from hard news to human-interest features and explanatory journalism
  • Solid news judgment with a track record of enterprise work
  • Comfortable working in varied formats, including live blogs, newsletters, video and audio
  • Cover letter with three links to previous work and a resume written by the applicant
