- Write clearly and on deadline

- Participate in Globe subscriber events
Requirements
- At least five years experience reporting for a news organization
- Interest and experience covering politics
- Ability to identify Alberta issues that resonate beyond the province
- Strong writing with a versatile range, from hard news to human-interest features and explanatory journalism
- Solid news judgment with a track record of enterprise work
- Comfortable working in varied formats, including live blogs, newsletters, video and audio
- Cover letter with three links to previous work and a resume written by the applicant
